WASHINGTON–President Donald Trump responded, apparently, to Democrats who personally invited politically provocative guests to send their party message to the president during his speech to Congress Tuesday night.

Trump invited to the joint session of Congress families of the victims of violent illegal immigrant crimes. The family members will sit with First lady Melania Trump when President Trump gives his address.

Several Democratic members announced over the last few days they invited a number of illegal immigrants as guests of theirs to the joint session, including a “Dreamer” immigrant who will give the Democratic Party’s response in Spanish.

Family members expected to sit with the first lady include two widows, Jessica Davis and Susan Oliver. Their husbands were California law enforcement officers killed by an illegal immigrant following a car-jacking in 2014.

Jamiel Shaw Sr., the dad of a teenage boy fatally shot by an illegal immigrant gang member will also be present with Mrs. Trump.

Melania Trump will also sit with Maureen McCarthy Scalia, widow of the late Justice Antonin Scalia as well as Megan Crowley, a 20 year old Notre Dame student. Crowley was diagnosed with Pompe Disease when she was just a year old and her father co-founded Novazyme Pharmaceuticals to help find a cure.

Also, Denisha Merriweather, who was enrolled in the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program, is expected to be a guest of the first lady. Although she struggled to graduate from high school and college,  she became the first person in her family to earn a college degree.
