According to the Los Angeles Times, Napolitano, Fox News’ senior judicial analyst, has not appeared on Fox News since Thursday, when Sean Spicer formally apologized for citing Napolitano’s claim during the White House press briefing. Sources close to the situation confirmed Napolitano’s indefinite ban to the Times, and when asked by The Daily Caller, a separate source referred to management as “wusses” for benching Napolitano.

“Would MSNBC pull one of their contributors for making an unsupported claim?” the source added. “Have they ever?”

“Of course not. They’d never consider it.”

Fox News and Napolitano did not return TheDC’s request for comment.
