New York police arrested a second man suspected of beating another man who offered to help pay for his meal Monday afternoon.

Police apprehended Keshan John after getting a tip from Crimestoppers, reports the New York Daily News.

John, along with three other men, is suspected of attacking Joseph Molohon after he offered them some money to pay their dinner at Texas Chicken & Burgers March 1. (RELATED:Good Samaritan Beaten With Own Cane After Trying To Pay For Someone’s Meal [VIDEO])

“I help everybody. I help people with cigarettes. If they ask me for money, I’ll give them a dollar or two. I’m a really nice person. I’m a country boy,” Molohon said about the attack.

A police source maintained that John is a gang member with a criminal record. John faces two counts of gang assault, two counts of regular assault and a third degree menacing charge.

Police captured another suspect in the beating last week. Kariem Roberts, 21, also faces charges of gang assault, menacing and four counts of robbery.

Police are still looking for two other people in connection with the assault.
