Last year, NFL fans could watch Thursday Night Football games on Twitter. That was more than a little silly. Streaming rights to the upcoming 2017 season make more sense, however, as Amazon has reached an agreement (reportedly worth $50 million) to stream the TNF games. While anyone could go on Twitter and watch the color rush contests last season, football fans who want to watch the games online will need Amazon Prime. Considering Amazon Prime offers free shipping (plus a vast online video library) for a mere $99/year, the addition of live sports content makes getting the service even more of a no-brainer. The subscription can also be ordered on a monthly basis for $10.99/month.

Amazon began flexing its muscle in the NFL content space last June when it unveiled “All Or Nothing,” a documentary series that explored the lives of players on and off the field over the course of a season. Season 1 centered on the Arizona Cardinals. This week it was announced that Season 2 would star the Los Angeles Rams.
