It’s good to be active. Everybody knows that. But if the popularity of the Fitbit has taught us anything, it is that it is also good to track you activity levels. Garmin watches can help you do just that. They feature typical Garmin GPS functionality as well as heart rate monitoring. Plus much more.

The Garmin Forerunner 920XT, which is 56 percent off today, “provides feedback on running form by measuring cadence, vertical oscillation and ground contact time.” It also “record speed, distance, ascent/descent, grade and more,” like cadence and power.

The notifications are also a neat feature, allowing you to see incoming emails, texts, call alerts calendar reminders and more. I guess you could call these smartwatches. But they seem way less arrogant than the type of devices (*cough* Apple Watch *cough*) usually meant by the term.
