A strong mazel tov may be in order for MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, who appear to finally be dishing details about their off-air romance.

The New York Post‘s “Page Six” gossip column reported last year that their relationship was “the worst kept-secret in TV.”

Now, with their previous marriages in rearview mirror, the pair is broaching the delicate topic of their assumed romantic relationship.

Yup, it’s true. In an upcoming issue of The Hollywood Reporter, Scar-Brz finally went there.

“We have a crackling on-air chemistry, and a crackling off-air chemistry, too,” Scarborough told THR.

When pushed for more detail, Brzezinski was cagey.”That’s good,” she said, with Scarborough adding, “I think that pretty much says it, doesn’t it?”

This wasn’t enough, obviously. But at least it’s more than the lame TV Newser story from last July, which presented the weakest attempt at getting an answer to the reality of their relationship.

“Look, I don’t really want to talk about my personal life,” Brzezinski told the interviewer.

In September, the duo hung out after hours at a bar in New York, where Scarborough performed with his band.

Despite discussing their “crackling chemistry,” don’t expect the couple to start smooching on air anytime soon or combine their respective children from their previous marriages. Scarborough has been married twice before and has four children; Brzezinski just once to journalist James Hoffer, with whom she has two daughters.

The Mirror wrote Scarborough and asked a single question: “Are you going to marry Mika?” I’ll keep you posted if he responds.

Scarborough and his most recent ex-wife, Susan Waren, divorced in 2013. They had been married for 10 years. He was married to Melanie Hinton from 1986 to 1999. Brzezinski and her ex split last June. They were married for 23 years.

In late September, RadarOnline reported that Brzezinski purchased a new home in Westchester, New York for $1.6 million.

While THR story did not discuss their children, they went into excruciating detail about how their pets get along.

Scarborough has a dog, Scout, and a cat, Oliver Meatball, who is apparently a handful of an animal who brashly parades himself on the kitchen counter, which Brzezinski finds “gross.”

Brzezinski, meanwhile, has two pooches, Hobson and Cajun, two cats, (Emma and Elle) and three chickens that she has discussed on air.

Brzezinski recently made a big deal of Scarborough’s 54th birthday on air and gifted her co-host, er, boyfriend, with fresh eggs from her chickens. She also heavily flirted with him, asking him what he did for his birthday.

Scarborough looked uncomfortable and didn’t respond to her question.

But later in the program he seemed to take the whole thing well even after a dancing bear waltzed onto the set with a cake and began tickling him.

The most suggestive part of the THR story is nothing that was written, but rather a photograph of the pair with Brzezinski standing boldly in front of Scarborough and Scarborough holding the ends of what appears to be a necktie behind her.

He’s already wearing a tie, so it’s hard to tell what the message is there.

But the whole thing looks a little 50 Shades of Grey/Lifetime’s “My Crazy Ex.”

A caption might be, “All tied up.”
