Watch Shia LaBeouf Text People From A Remote Cabin In Finland Or Something

This whole Shia LaBeouf thing is… I don’t even… somebody needs to…

Associated Press:

Shia LaBeouf’s latest stunt is to spend a month isolated in a cabin in Finland’s remote Lapland region with his only communication with the outside world coming via text message to visitors to a Helsinki museum.

Well, it makes as much sense as anything else he’s done lately. You can watch the live feed below, if you have absolutely nothing better to do with your day. From the YouTube description:

#ALONETOGETHER weaves a virtual link between Kiasma’s visitors and the artists. From 12 April 2017, LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner will spend a month in three remote cabins somewhere in Lapland, entirely cut off from other people. A video link to a small cabin installed in the gallery is their only point of contact with the outside world.

He could just go away and stay there, but no. It takes a dedicatedly pretentious narcissist to draw attention to oneself by hiding, doesn’t it?

And yes, the 4chantards are already trying to track him down. From “He Will Not Divide Us” to “He Will Not Hide From Us.” Part of me wishes these guys would just leave him alone, and part of me hopes they keep tormenting him until he starts doing something less obnoxious, like making more movies. He used to be pretty good at that, now and then.
