Dems targeted a vocal Anti-Trump Republican senator during a town hall event Thursday.

There weren’t many disruptive protesters, but Flake was booed by a majority of the audience several times during the town hall event in Mesa, Ariz., reports Business Insider.

“Can you please take your job more seriously, senator? We would appreciate it,” one protester asked Flake.

The group wanted Flake to attempt to block spending for Trump’s weekly visits to Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

“Does this concern you at all? Do you approve a budget for these weekly excursions,” a protester asked. “If yes, how much is that? And if no, why do you have no desire to control President Donald Trump’s spending or his personal profit from that spending?”

“That’s something we’ll deal with when we deal with the budget,” Flake answered. “But I’m not going to tell the president where he can and cannot spend his weekends.”

Sen. Jeff Flake has been a constant critic of President Donald Trump since the 2016 Republican Primary. He announced he couldn’t see himself voting for Trump in June 2016 and also condemned several Trump statements, including an attack on the federal judge that made a ruling in the case against Trump University.

Trump attacked Flake several times after announcing his candidacy in 2015. He called the Arizona senator out during a meeting on Capitol Hill in July of 2016 and did so again during a meeting in March.
