Decorated Navy SEAL Chief Special Warfare Officer Joseph John Schmidt III has starred in nearly 30 porn films, The San Diego Tribune revealed Friday.
Schmidt goes by the stage name of Jay Voom and has starred in such hits as “interracial foursome,” “Black mailed by Step Mom,” along with its sequel “Black mailed by Step Mom 2.” Many of Schmidt’s scene’s were performed with his wife, a former Penthouse pet currently ranked the 79th most popular porn-star.
The U.S. Navy is now launching an investigation into Schmidt, who did not respond to comment to the Tribune. “We have initiated a formal investigation into these allegations. There are very clear regulations which govern outside employment by (Naval Special Warfare) personnel as well as prohibitions on behavior that is discrediting to the service,” SEAL spokesman Capt. Jason Salata told TheSDT. Schmidt’s wife claimed her husbands part time porn career was well known among the SEAL community.
Military rules require personnel to receive clearance for secondary employment, which Schmidt did not seek. “They knew about it at work,” Schmidt’s wife alleged. She continued, “He was always pretty open about it with the command. I mean, honestly, all of his buddies knew about it. Everybody knew about it.”
Schmidts wife continued that the couple pursued a secondary in the porn business to cover nearly 2 million dollars in debt the couple incurred by starting a failed real-estate company in 2005. “It got us out of a lot of financial issues we were going through,” she declared. She continued, “I could take care of the child. I could try to get us out of financial debt.”
