Twitter users clapped back at MSNBC host Chris Hayes after he said conservatives only care about free speech on college campuses because they use “grievance and persecution” as their “emotional fuel.”
“If you haven’t been paying attention to right wing media recently, it’s *amazing* how much attention current campus controversies have gotten,” the MSNBC host wrote.

Hayes then argued that conservatives only care about campus issues because their “emotional fuel is grievance and persecution, so they need to focus on Berkeley campus.”

@chrislhayes Remind me, Chris: when was the last time a liberal speaker, or their supporters, were attacked on campus?

Let’s hope Hayes didn’t get too triggered by the Twitter assault.
