I love this. FatMax Xtreme? That’s the perfect name for a hammer. It made me want it even before I found out it had a solid 4.7-star customer rating or that it was on sale for 42 percent off.

Stanley 51-163 16-Ounce FatMax Xtreme AntiVibe Rip Claw Nailing Hammer on sale for $18.36

As you can see, it also comes with patented AntiVibe technology, which I’ve never heard of but sounds like it would be super useful for hammering. Here are all the selling points:

  • Patented torsion control grip technology reduces the effects of torque on wrists and elbows

  • Patented AntiVibe technology minimizes vibration and shock at impact

  • Precision balanced – feel the difference.

  • Forged, one-piece steel construction for increased strength and durability

  • Limited lifetime warranty

Somehow that list didn’t mention that it was called FatMax Xtreme, which should be a selling point enough. Maybe I’m just an easy mark.
