Comey Expects More Election Targeting In 2018

During his Senate Judiciary Committee testimony, James Comey said he expects more election targeting by the Russians in 2018 and 2020 because it has proven to be effective.

Sen. Ben Sasse asked Comey if he thinks people should expect “more targeting of US public discourse and elections” in the future.

WATCH:

“I do,” Comey said immediately. “I think one of the lessons that the Russians may have drawn from this is that this works.”

“And so as I said a month or so ago, I expect to see them back in 2018, especially in 2020,” he concluded.
