Wolf Blitzer awkwardly sang the wrong lyrics to “Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye)” when explaining how House Democrats sang the song after the passage of the American Health Care Act Thursday.
After playing a clip of the AHCA vote on CNN’s “The Situation Room,” Blitzer tried to recreate the Democrats’ singing in front of his guests but failed royally.
“They were singing and you can hear it in the background,” he said before switching to his singing voice.
“La la la la la…I’m not gonna sing it…hey hey hey goodbye,” the attempt went.
The actual lyrics to the famous song?
“Na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye.”
