Michael Moore Demands The Election Be Held Again Over Comey’s Firing

Michael Moore demanded that the election be held again after President Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey Tuesday.

“COMEY FIRED! Dirty, corrupt things afoot,” the 62-year-old filmmaker tweeted minutes after news broke Comey had been let go. (RELATED: Michael Moore On Syria Strike: ‘Trump Is Playing Everyone Again’)

“The truth will all come out. The unraveling continues… Hold the election over. Dirty. Corrupt,” he added, later quoting a CNN contributor who called the firing of Comey by Trump a “gross abuse of power.” (RELATED: Michael Moore Is Convinced Trump Voters Are Going To Get ‘Buyer’s Remorse’)

 

“Jeff Toobin on CNN:”This is a gross abuse of power by the President. This is what happens in non-democracies. What kind of country is this?”

In a letter sent by the White House, Trump announced that Comey was fired on the recommendation of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
