I’ve said it before – I’m not the type of person to buy jewelry on Amazon. Then again, I’m not the type of person to buy jewelry at all; whenever I’ve done it for women it has not gone over well. So maybe don’t take my advice on this. I just wanted to let you know that Amazon is holding a one-day-only deal on jewelry, ostensibly in preparation for Mother’s Day. It’s up to you what to do for Mother’s Day. You can stick with flowers. Or class it up with wine. Or makeup. Or I guess you can take advantage of this opportunity to get jewelry up to 40 percent off.

In total, there are over 160 items included in this sale. The deal is segmented into four categories: “Hearts,” “Mom & Me,” “Words of Love” and “Classics.” So kind of a Mother’s Day theme, I think. As usual, when Amazon says “up to 40 percent off,” it is selling itself short in many cases:

I have no idea if these are nice pieces of jewelry or if any woman would like them or what. I’ll let you figure that out. Probably best to check out the entire selection. Do not rely on me at all when it comes on showcasing jewelry. I’m just the messenger.
