Glenn Beck said during his radio show Friday that he would like former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly to join The Blaze.

During the show, a guest phoned in to talk about President Trump’s interview with Lester Holt on Thursday, and said Beck seemed more “welcoming” during his interview with Bill O’Reilly than Holt seemed with Trump.

“If Bill will give me the hard-hitting interview I will do the hard-hitting interview,” Beck explained, “but that’s not what we had agreed to.”

Another guest called and said about O’Reilly, “I would love for you to guys to get him on The Blaze.”

“So would I,” Beck admitted.

“I’ll pay him in sandwiches,” hinting that he couldn’t afford to pay O’Reilly anything comparable to his old salary at Fox News.

O’Reilly reportedly made $25 million-a-year at Fox and is receiving close to that as a payout for leaving the network amidst his alleged sexual harassment against female employees.

The Blaze has faced significant financial trouble in the past, forcing Beck to lay off about 40 employees last year.
