James Comey was spotted out in public this weekend for the first time since he was fired by Donald Trump.
The former FBI director and his wife were seen at a performance of the musical “Fun Home” at the National Theatre in Washington Saturday night. A photo of Comey at the event surfaced on the musical’s Twitter account.

Comey has kept a low profile since he was abruptly fired by the president last Tuesday. He found out that he had been dismissed from his post as headlines flashed across the television screen while he was speaking to a group of FBI agents in Los Angeles.
Comey later declined a Senate intelligence committee request to speak to the panel on Tuesday.
“He is not going to be testifying on Tuesday, but it is our hope in the not too distant future, that we can find time for him to come in and talk to our committee,” Sen. Mark Warner confirmed.
