Many people have forgotten, but five years ago on her talk show Kathy Griffin called Elizabeth Hasselbeck a “bitch” and a “cunt” for apparently disrespecting then-President Obama.
Thanks to Mediaite, who dredged up a video of the segment from Griffin’s show, her hypocrisy is now on full display.
Griffin is currently being put on blast for posing for a photo holding President Trump’s bloody severed head, but on “Kathy” she lectured Hasselbeck over her “attitude to the president, who was a Harvard Law professor.”
She showed a clip of President Obama’s appearance on “The View” when Hasselbeck asked him how his stance on gay marriage differed from Mitt Romney.
“Take it down a notch, bitch,” she said, before praising Obama for being “patient” with Hasselbeck.
“He’s a gentlemanly guy,” Griffin said of Obama, “but I’ll go ahead and say it: she’s a cunt.”
Griffin also talked about her time on “The View,” during which Barbara Walters told her to “respect the office.”
