As we approach the third leg of the Triple Crown this weekend, we’re reminded of the legendary horse, Secretariat, and his striking resemblance to former Secretary of State John Kerry.
Forty-four years ago, Secretariat went on a historic run that will be remembered forever. The three-year-old colt dominated all three Triple Crown races, setting a new track record in both his Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes wins. Although Kerry’s ability to run for office doesn’t quite match up with Secretariat’s performance on the racetrack, the two still share some similarities. Aside from the obvious comparison between the horse’s name and Kerry’s title, it’s also damn near impossible to tell them apart.
