Britain’s Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn celebrated an unexpected election by awkwardly side-hugging and trying to high-five fellow member of parliament Emily Thornberry.
The two were celebrating the moment as early election results Thursday evening showed promising gains for the liberal Labour Party over Prime Minister Theresa May’s Conservative party.
A video of shows the pair hugging, joking around as photographers took pictures. Corbyn went for a high-five, but Thornberry apparently didn’t notice, and dropped her hand. Corbyn continued thrusting his hand forward in what looks like a mistaken boob-slap.

Corbyn’s Labour Party failed to win the election, but it kept May’s party from winning a majority, leaving Britian with a “hung parliament.”
May announced that she will form a government without a majority of the parliament in her party’s control Friday morning, but Corbyn’s party is going to form a minority government and attempt to oust May as prime minister.
“I don’t think the Conservative Government is stable, I don’t think the Prime Minister is stable,” Corbyn told Sky News. “I don’t want to be derogatory, but I think she is a lame duck now.”
