Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell got kicked out of the Penguins arena Thursday night for being a real fan and banging his fists on the glass.

“Got kicked out for banging on the glass?! Man that’s crazy!! Sorry we just won two fights,” Boswell tweeted last night with some time left in the third period.

If true, it’s a pretty bad look for Pittsburgh to throw the city’s kicker out of the stadium. But to throw him out for banging on the glass after two fights is an absolute outrage and a violation against hockey fans everywhere.

The Penguins absolutely dominated the Nashville Predators six goals to none on their home ice in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals, but the goals weren’t the biggest highlight of the game.

We don’t often see fights on the ice in the finals because the stakes are high and a penalty could cost your team the game, but when the game is already lost who really cares. Game 5 in Pittsburgh is all it took to send the Predators’ players over the edge and several fights broke out towards the end of this one.

As for who one the fights, we’ll let you decide. Clearly Chris Boswell thinks the home team came out on top.

Anyways, here’s Sidney Crosby bashing P.K. Subban’s head on the ice. See you in Nashville boys.
