People started celebrating Independence Day early on Twitter by posting pictures of this great country under the hashtag #AmericanGreatness.
The hashtag really took off after late night host Stephen Colbert posted a photo on Twitter standing in front of Carl Sandburg’s historic home in Flat Rock, North Carolina, and encouraged others to share their “brushes” with American greatness. Some of the posts include pictures of President Donald Trump, while others show the beauty of the country and its great landmarks.
