“I realized I had been carrying around a lot of crap, both internally and externally,” Dunham, 31, told The New York Times in a Monday story. All proceeds from Dunham’s commission from the sales will go to Planned Parenthood Federation of America, according to the Times.
Say what you want, but this is exactly how Planned Parenthood should be funded: voluntarily.
It seems like more and more people have given up pretending they like Lena Dunham, or Katy Perry, or Lady Gaga, or any of the other people we were supposed to listen to before the election. I don’t know if that’s just the fleeting nature of fame, or if everybody finally realized that celebrities don’t necessarily know what they’re talking about, or what. All I know if that there will be no shortage of contestants when Celebrity Rehab inevitably returns. (RIP, Jeff Conaway.)
