A couple weeks ago, a deal on the Amazon Echo dropped the price to match last year’s Prime Day price of only $129. We were shocked. To date, that has been the lowest the revolutionary speaker/personal assistant has ever been available for.

Well, Prime Day 2017 is officially here, and the day of savings will extend until the end of the day on Tuesday, July 11. And for these next 30 hours, the Amazon Echo is a ridiculously low $90. That’s cheaper than buying a refurbished Echo! We’ve talked repeatedly about how the Amazon Echo is worth the $180 it usually costs. At $90, you should probably be getting one for you and everyone you know. (It’s never too soon to start Christmas shopping, after all).

The Echo Dot, which is a smaller version of the Echo (with a less powerful speaker) is also available for its lowest price ever, at a mere $35.

The Echo Dot is good as a standalone device if you have a good speaker to plug it into, but one of its primary values is usage as a companion piece to the Echo. Many families have an Echo in their living room and then several Dots scattered throughout the house. Not a bad system!
