Planned Parenthood released a new homepage that features a pregnant doctor advising a patient.
The homepage boasts, “Care. No Matter What.” Below the photo are the words, “Protect Access to Health Care for 2.5 Million Patients,” with a button calling online visitors to “Take Action.”
Pro-abortion advocates and Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards have been extremely vocal following the Senate health care bill’s proposed rollback of funds going to the organization, decrying the cut as an onslaught on women and their health care. Planned Parenthood, however, provides less than 2 percent of manual breast exams and 1 percent of pap smear tests, diagnoses about 1 percent of STDs and offers virtually no education. In reality, the organization performed 328,348 abortions from 2015-2016, and for every 114 abortions it performed, it gave only one adoption referral.
