Grilling is an indispensable part of summer. We’ve all grilled, and almost everyone loves to grill. (Those few of us who don’t love the act of grilling certainly love the act of eating grilled food).
One of the things I’ve wondered recently is why more grillers don’t use grill mats. These grill mats are #1 bestsellers, and this description of their purpose really gets down to the bottom of why grill mats are a good idea:
It keeps vegetables and flaky fish from falling through the grates of the grill, and sauces and marinades stay with your food (vegetables, meats, fish, pizza, kabobs, eggs, you name it) instead of dripping into the grill.
Those are very valuable functions!
The best part about these grill mats? They are thin enough that you don’t sacrifice the grill marks on your food. I’m having trouble identifying a downside right now.
