Fox’s Sean Hannity took a shot at MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough Wednesday after he announced he’s leaving the Republican party, saying, “did anyone else notice by the way the hair last night? Wow, I guess Mika’s telling him it looks really cool.”

Hannity was referring to Scarborough’s appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Tuesday, when he announced he would be ditching the GOP to become an independent.

Hannity has hammered the former Florida congressman and his co-host/fiancee Mika Brzezinski calling them “phony” and asking if “they hold hands under the desk.”

Scarborough has taken criticism from Hannity and others for reportedly selling out to gain notoriety — specifically with his music career.

Scarborough recently released a music video critical of President Donald Trump, called “Mystified,” which received mix reactions at best. Hannity called it “cringe-worthy” and said Scarbrough believes he “can one day be president of the United States.”

“It’s very clear that he wants to be loved, and worshiped, and idolized, and adored, and supported by all his liberal arrogant elitist friends in New York City,” said Hannity. He sarcastically added that with Scarborough’s departure from the GOP, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame would be “gaining a legend.”

He took a parting shot at Scarborough’s performance of his song “Monkey House” on Colbert, saying, “Watching that performance, don’t quit your day job.”
