NFL free agent quarterback Robert Griffin III is scheduled to workout with the Los Angeles Chargers at some point Tuesday.

The news of RGIII’s attempt to revive his NFL career was reported by several different NFL insiders, including Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter.

The Baylor product had an incredible rookie season with the Washington Redskins, but injuries quickly derailed his career. He bounced over to the Cleveland Browns last season, but injuries again destroyed his season.

RGIII has had one of the most disappointing professional quarterback careers in recent memory. I remember watching him rip apart defenses for Baylor during my sophomore year of college. I couldn’t have cared less about Big 12 football or Baylor. Big 12 football is consistently among some of the most garbage football out there. No defense and offenses incapable of running the ball isn’t exactly my cup of tea. I’ll take the Big Ten playing power football in the snow any day of the week.

However, RGIII was so electric I had to tune in. Hopefully he finds a way to bounce back and have an NFL career. If there’s even a one percent chance he returns to his former self, then I’m interested.
