The first trailer for Netflix’s upcoming movie “Message from the King” was released late Tuesday.

The plot of the film, according to Netflix, is, “A mysterious outsider named Jacob King from South Africa arrives in Los Angeles to avenge his younger sister’s death.”

The film stars Chadwick Boseman, Luke Evans and Tom Felton.

Violence and death is the central theme of the electric trailer. King, who is portrayed by Boseman, goes on a revenge spree as he racks up the bodies.

WATCH:

The film currently does not have a release date.

It’s worth noting that Boseman is quickly becoming one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. His recent film credits include “Captain America: Civil War,” “Draft Day,” “42,” and his upcoming films are “Marshall,” “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Infinity War.”

I don’t want to go out on a limb and be blasphemous, but is it too early to suggest that Boseman is currently on the path to be the next Denzel Washington? He has lots of serious roles and has no problem being intimidating as hell on film. Only time will tell how successful he ends up.
