Tesla’s Metal mod produces up to a maximum of 60 watts output. It came out onto the market close to two years ago, but is still often purchased up to today. It technically is a mini style mod that has a temperature control option. The power comes from one 18650 battery that is sold separately. It has various protections such as: short protection, reverse connection protection, low voltage protection, and over puffing protection. It comes in both black and silver. Both are made with a metal aluminum construction.
Tesla’s Metal mod functions best in wattage mode. It works in temperature control mode, but the reviewer doesn’t recommend it. Keeping in mind, when this mod came onto the market, there were not many TC mods available yet. Cons include: 510 connector is loose, resistance is too high in TC mode and it can’t be used while USB is plugged in. Pros include: buttons are clicky, simple menu, on the go charging, and it is a well built solid device. The price on this mod is very much on the low end. That said, the reviewer would not purchase this device again.
