Here’s one for the “Man Bites Dog” file…
The last time I paid any attention to Debra Messing, it was when she was part of that desperate last-ditch attempt to stop Republican electors from voting for Trump. Remember that? A true comedy classic:
It was a good effort… a good effort… a good effort. But for some reason, nobody really cared about a bunch of Hollywood liberals who couldn’t deal with the cognitive dissonance when it turned out nominating Hillary Clinton was a terrible mistake.
Messing looked like she was near tears in that video. As for her current mental and emotional state? Check this out:

I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but… I agree with Debra Messing. Tax hikes are disgusting. Class envy is disgusting. Punishing people for being successful is disgusting.
Of course, I’m assuming that Messing realizes a 44% marginal tax rate isn’t a cut. That she doesn’t think it should be even higher. That she knows anything at all, really, and isn’t just spewing venom at the guys who kept Grandma from breaking the glass ceiling.
But never let it be said that I won’t praise a Democrat for getting something right for a change. Even if it’s by mistake.
