Manning speaks out against Trump – Former U.S. Army soldier Chelsea Manning lambasted the Trump administration for its ban on transgenders in the military in a passionate op-ed for The New York Times.
As a trans woman, Manning took Trump’s three tweets deeply to heart. The former soldier spoke on behalf of the transgender community, chiding the government for its “bias and prejudice” and “systemic discrimination.”
“We are neither disruptive nor expensive. We are human beings, and we will not be erased or ignored,” Manning wrote.
