Celebrities can’t stop gushing over Arizona Sen. John McCain for his “act of heroism” Thursday night as he cast the deciding vote against a Republican bill to changes parts of Obamacare.

McCain was one of three Republicans who cast a “no” vote for the so-called “skinny repeal” bill. The others who joined him where Sen. Lisa Murkowski and Sen. Susan Collins.

Rosie O’Donnell praised God for the three senators, and in another tweet said that “America’s soul” was awakened by the vote. Michael Moore claimed that the move meant that “thousands of lives” were saved and that it was time to move to a single-payer health care system. (RELATED: Celebrities Throw Hissy Fit Following Trump’s ‘Morning Joe’ Tweets)
