Ole Miss’ football programed is engulfed with scandals, but their quarterback Shea Patterson’s girlfriend, Camille Lamb, is still a shining star in Oxford, Mississippi.
Patterson is a redshirt sophomore, but is already being hyped up as one of the best quarterbacks in America and a potential Heisman candidate. Only time will tell if his performance on the field lives up to the Johnny Manziel-levels of hype, but there’s no debate whether or not he’s winning in life with Lamb on his arm.
I spoke with somebody close to the Ole Miss football program this morning, and it was clear from that conversation the fanbase is more than supportive of Lamb. Now they just have to get to winning a few football games on the field and everything will be back to normal in Oxford.
On a semi-related note, I’ve met with fans from all over the SEC and had my fair share of beers with plenty of people from different schools. Ole Miss fans are without a doubt the most down to earth and best fans I’ve met from the SEC country, for the most part. It’s a shame about all the stuff their former coach, Hugh Freeze, and others have put this program through.
