Tyler Carach wore a superhero cape while giving out donuts to thank cops for protecting Americans during his most recent stop in Vermont Monday.

His campaign started in August 1, 2016 after he asked his mom Sheena, a former cop, if he could use his own money to buy cops donuts. When his mother explained that people have a negative view to cops, but Carach wanted to help change that.

“They keep us safe, and I want to remind them that people still care. And because they are my best friends,” said Carach, reported by 3WCAX Monday.

His campaign around 13 states is called “I DONUT Need a Reason to Thank Cops,” and he refers to himself as “Donut Boy”. The tour started in his home state of Florida and he is currently on his last leg of the tour a

Carach has a goal of delivering 10,000 sweet treats to officers this summer.
