Notorious pharmaceutical executive and internet troll Martin Shkreli is wanting to become the next White House communications director. Amid the chaos resulting from Anthony Scaramucci’s firing Monday, the pharma bro took to Facebook to post, “In for comms director.”

After just eleven days as White House communications director, Scaramucci got axed following an interview with The New Yorker where the former hedge-fund manager trash-talked his co-workers. Twitter subsequently exploded with catty headlines like “Screw the Mooch” and “Mooch Ado About Nothing.”

Shkreli, who is currently on trial for securities fraud in New York City, was dubbed by many media outlets as “the most hated man in America” in 2015 for jacking up the price of the AIDS medication Daraprim by 5,000 percent.

The former pharmaceutical exeuctive’s other controversial antics include going on tour with Milo Yiannopoulos, cyber-bullying Teen Vogue contributor Lauren Duca (which got him banned from Twitter), smirking through a congressional testimony, and buying the only copy of Wu Tang Clan’s “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin” for a stratospheric $1,000,000 before releasing a diss videos towards Ghostface Killah.

Jurors ended their first day of deliberations in Shkreli’s trial Monday without returning a verdict.
