MSNBC political correspondent Kasie Hunt was caught off guard Thursday, as cameras panned to her rolling her eyes and sticking out her tongue while waiting for her segment to begin.
Hunt was waiting outside offices on Capitol Hill during “MSNBC Live With Hallie Jackson,” and didn’t appear to hear Jackson when she asked about Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham’s immigration comments.
Hunt appeared confused and startled by something behind her before rolling her eyes at the camera and sticking out her tongue.
Jackson tried to explain Hunt’s demeanor and asked if she had seen someone coming down the hall. “I think you’re seeing somebody maybe, in the hallway Kasie,” Jackson said. After several more seconds of silence Jackson laughed and said “Maybe not.”
Jackson continued to laugh the awkward moment away before turning to her in-studio guests to break the silence.
