Joy Behar attacked President Donald Trump for taking an upcoming vacation on Friday and suggested he and his sons could rest up once they’re behind bars at “Rikers Island.”

“Robert Mueller has a grand jury investigating Russian ties and his approval rating are in the toilet. So what’s Emperor nero zero doing while Rome burns… planning a 17-day vacation to New Jersey,” Behar explained during a panel discussion on “The View.” (RELATED: Fight Breaks Out On ‘The View’ Over Why Hillary Lost)

“He’s been on a lot of vacations,” Sunny Hostin declared. “I think, by the end of August he will have spent about 53 days in office playing around, like vacationing. Compared with the 15 days [Barack] Obama took through August 2009.”

“I know he didn’t expect what he got in this job, but he came down hard on President Obama for how much he golfed,” co-host Sarah Haines said. “When you compare the numbers, it’s kind of like at least I would like a recognition of ‘okay I didn’t know it’s more fun to golf than be the president.'”

“Maybe he could look forward to an extended stay at Rikers Island, that might be a fun vacation,” Behar interjected. “So he’ll have his sons with him. It will be like a family reunion.”
