I’m not sure what it means that this Black & Decker iron is a so-called “professional steam iron.” It promises “crisp, professional results with any type of fabric.” So does that mean it is the kind of iron that your neighborhood dry cleaner uses?
Putting aside this conundrum, it is important to note that this iron is certainly well reviewed. It has nearly 4,500 customer reviews, with 67 percent of them giving it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. The neatest feature is the “digital temperature control,” which makes it easier to customize the settings to each particular fabric. The other neat feature is that it is on sale today for just over 30 bucks.

“Professional” or not, this is a great price for an iron from a reliable home appliance company. In all seriousness, I trust Black & Decker to make a product that will iron my clothes as well as the nice ladies down the block. You should, too.
