The desire for Nutella motivated these thieves with a serious sweet tooth to steal 44,092 pounds of goods.

These thieves stole $75,000 worth of Nutella and Kinder chocolate in Neustadt, northeast Germany, between Saturday and Sunday, according to 9News. The truck was transporting the chocolate cross country in a refrigerated trailer.

“It’s not even clear if they were after the sweets or after the trailer at this point we don’t know what their motive was,” said Martin Ahlich, a police spokesman.

“Anyone offered large quantities of chocolate via unconventional channels should report it to the police immediately,” added police to German newspaper Deutsche Welle.

Thirty tons of fruit juice was also stolen over the weekend in Wittenberg, Germany, reported Sky News.
