George Takei, Rosie O’Donnell, Michael Moore and other celebrities celebrated the departure of Steve Bannon from the White House, taking credit for helping to push him out.

“Trump has insisted Bannon resign. ‘Ding dong the witch etc!’ This shows that our collective outrage works, even on the most tone-deaf ears,” Takei tweeted Friday, before slamming the now former chief strategist as a “white supremacist.” (RELATED: Michael Moore, Other Celebs Blame Trump For Charlottesville Riots)

“It is a delicious irony that the white supremacist rally has led to the ouster of the most visible white supremacist from the White House,” he added.

“BANNON GONE! When Bannon saw Trump able to defend white power all on his own, he said 2 himself, “My job here is done. Mission accomplished,” Michael Moore tweeted.
