A Department of State science envoy surreptitiously called for President Donald Trump’s impeachment by making the first letter of each paragraph of his resignation letter spell out the word “impeach.”

Obama-appointed science envoy and University of California Berkeley professor Daniel Kammen resigned in opposition to Trump’s refusal to exclusively condemn neo-Nazis following the Charlottesville riot. Kammen announced his resignation in a tweet, in which he claimed Trump’s reaction to the violence “enables racism, sexism and harms our country and planet.” (RELATED: Obama-Appointed ‘Science Envoy’ Resigns Over Trump’s Charlottesville Response)

Members of the President’s Committee On Arts And Humanities took a similar tact when they resigned in August, spelling out the word “resist” with the first letter of each paragraph of their resignation letter. Actor Kal Penn tweeted the resignation letter.

Trump, who condemned white supremacists by name two days after the riot in response to substantial backlash, has repeatedly argued that the media’s political bias is responsible for the perception that he is not sufficiently tough on the hate groups.
