The first trailer was released Thursday for the upcoming movie “Last Flag Flying,” and it’s a tear-jerker.

The plot of the film, according to the YouTube description, is, “Thirty years after they served together in Vietnam, a former Navy Corps medic Larry ‘Doc’ Shepherd re-unites with his old buddies, ex-Marine Sal Nealon and Reverend Richard Mueller, to bury his son, a young Marine killed in the Iraq War.”

The film stars Bryan Cranston, Steve Carrell and Laurence Fishburne in the three lead roles, and it looks like this trio might have struck gold together on screen.

Films of this nature rarely hit it huge at the box office, but they’re specifically crafted to crush it during the award season. Add in the fact plenty of Americans are enamored with anything involving the military, and it’s hard to see a situation where this film doesn’t have success.

It is scheduled to be released November 3.
