This week’s former high school English teacher who now owes a civil judgment of $750,000 for traumatizing a male teen student with eight sex romps in her car and in her classroom is Erin Sayar.

The sex trauma occurred in 2011. Sayar was a 35-year-old English teacher at New York City’s taxpayer-funded James Madison High School — “excellence in education since 1925” — when she seduced Kevin Eng, her then-16-year-old student, and inflicted the sex ordeal on him.

On Monday, at the end of a one-day bench trial, Judge Miriam Sunshine awarded Eng and his family $250,000 in punitive damages and $500,000 in compensatory damages for the eight sex romps, reports the New York Daily News.

Sayar, who was married at the time of the trysts but has since divorced, pleaded guilty to a raft criminal charges in 2012 for having sex with Eng eight times — and for giving him marijuana.

The original lawsuit filed by Eng and his family had sought a cool $10 million. The suit claimed “sexual assault,” “molestation” and “false imprisonment” because Eng, a 16-year-old high school student, had a bunch of sex with his thirtysomething English teacher, according to a contemporaneous New York Post story.

As part of the “sexual assault,” “molestation” and “false imprisonment,” Eng exchanged almost 4,000 texts with Sayar.

“I love you so much,” Eng reportedly told Sayar in a Facebook message at some point during the trauma. “I always loved you, since last year,” the then-teen student also said as he endured the sex ordeal, according to a contemporary Daily News account.

Eng’s girlfriend at the time was able to put a stop to the sex trauma by alerting school officials after she found Facebook messages between Eng and Sayar.

The lawsuit had named the New York City Department of Education as a defendant along with Sayar. However, the trial court dismissed the substantially-deeper-pocketed education department from the suit.

Sayar, who likely does not possess assets totaling anywhere near $750,000, represented herself in the civil trial and frequently failed to show up to contest motions.

The Post contacted Sayar and seems to have broken the news to her about the civil suit verdict.

“I can’t talk about it because I don’t know,” Sayar said when she found out about the verdict.

The 41-year-old former teacher also said that she has recovered from the cancer from which was suffering during her criminal trial.

The attorney for Eng and his family, Bruce Baron, praised the $750,000 judgment for sex trauma.

“This award by the judge in Brooklyn Supreme Court sends a strong message to teachers and or any individuals in authority not to cross the line and abuse their position of authority,” Baron told the Daily News.

Baron also said he has demanded Sayar’s financial records in an attempt to find assets to satisfy the $750,000 judgment.

In 2012, a criminal judge sentenced Sayar to 10 years of probation. Sayar also surrendered her teaching license and the state of New York has designated her as a Level 1 sex offender (the lowest level). Sayar will retain the dubious sex offender distinction for a total of 20 years, according to the Brooklyn Daily Eagle.

The tabloid press in New York City has labeled James Madison High School as “Horndog High” since 2009 when a janitor busted two female teachers having sex with a student (who was not a minor).

Lawsuits by male teens and their parents over sex flings with female high school teachers are surprisingly common in modern-day America.

Earlier this month, a federal judge in Oklahoma ruled that a female middle school teacher, 31-year-old Jennifer Caswell, must pay $1 million for traumatizing a 15-year-old student with stand-up-style sex in the back of her classroom and a bunch of other mind-blowing sex that included an intense, weeks-long, two-state romance. The gold-standard case involved forensic science teacher Rachelle Heenan in the suburban sprawl beyond Dallas, Texas. A 2014 lawsuit alleged that the thirtysomething teacher repeatedly exploited a male student who was 17 years old at the time by engaging in raunchy sexting sessions and, eventually, a slew of sex romps. According to the lawsuit, all the sex so stunted the student emotionally that he was forced to postpone entry into the U.S. Marine Corps. (RELATED: Lawsuit: Teen’s Sex Romps With Female Teacher So Mind-Blowing He Can’t Join Marines)

Also in 2014, the family of a 17-year-old male student at Options Public Charter School in Washington, D.C. filed a $3 million lawsuit claiming that 22-year-old substitute teacher Symone Greene provided oral sex to him on the very first day of her teaching assignment, in her classroom, right behind the teacher’s desk. The student, a football player, allegedly asked Greene to engage in a number of sexual acts equal to the number on his football jersey. (RELATED: Family Of 17-Year-Old Male Student Who Received Oral Sex From Teacher Now Wants $3 Million)
