Kathy Griffin Is No Longer Sorry, Assuming She Ever Really Was

Comedian Kathy Griffin said she is no longer sorry for the controversial photo in which she posed with a fake severed Trump head covered in stage blood.

“I am no longer sorry, the whole outrage was B.S., the whole thing got so blown out of proportion and I lost everybody,” Griffin told the Seven Network in Australia about the incident in May. “Like, I had Chelsea Clinton tweeting against me. I had friends, Debra Messing from ‘Will and Grace,’ tweeting against me.”

I can’t even imagine such a horrible fate. Just think of it: Chelsea Clinton and Debra Messing tweeting against you. Um, is this still America?

Look, everybody knows Kathy Griffin is a delusional moron. She thinks she’s being persecuted, and that it’s unprecedented. (I’m sure that rodeo clown in Missouri who was fired for wearing an Obama mask has an opinion on that.) She screwed up, then she screwed up even worse, and now she’s angry that she’s suffered the consequences. She had the right to do what she did, and nobody else is under any obligation to have anything to do with her. So let her be angry. Let her be a self-styled martyr.

She’s now scheduled to do a comedy tour. If you want to pay to go listen to her rant and rave, go ahead. The rest of us will go back to only remembering her long enough to mistake her for the receptionist on NewsRadio.
