DANGER ZONE: Melania Trump Is Heading Into The Storm In Style

Melania Trump is headed towards Hurricane Harvey and looks ready to handle anything that comes her way.

The president and first lady departed the White House Tuesday morning en route to Austin, Texas to take part in the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts with local leadership and volunteer organizations.

Donald and Melania looked ready for the rain as they walked out into a stormy morning on the White House lawn to board Marine One. The president wore a black raincoat with khaki pants and boots with a U.S.A. hat in hand while the first lady dressed in all black with a military green jacket and Aviator sunglasses to complete the “Top Gun” look.

The Trumps are scheduled for a tour of the Emergency Operations Center in Austin Texas Tuesday afternoon, according to a schedule released by the office of the White House Press Secretary. Afterwards they will participate in a briefing on Hurricane Harvey with Texas State leadership.

The president and first lady will return to the White House later in the afternoon.
