Johnny Manziel is so desperate to get back in the game that he worked out for a Canadian football team.

Manziel worked out for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, the same team that hired and then fired the ex-Baylor coach Art Briles within a day.

After multiple reports surfaced that the team was not interested in the quarterback, NBC Sports has reported that the team remains interested in signing Manziel. June Jones, head coach of the team, seems to think that Manziel could be a good fit for the team, although I’m not sure I can agree with that.

Manziel was the 22nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns. He played two seasons before the Browns dumped him due to his poor performance and the fact that he just couldn’t quit partying.

A stint in rehab didn’t even help his partying ways, yet this team sounds like they are very interested in him. Why this team thinks he could do well even in Canada will remain a mystery, but who knows – it could be the structure he needs.
