George Strait is planning to put together a relief effort for Hurricane Harvey within the country music community, and it sounds like it’s going to be big.

The country music legend announced his plans to help those affected from the storm in Texas over Twitter on Tuesday, Fox News reports. (SLIDESHOW: Country Music’s Most Jaw-Dropping Female Artists)

“Thoughts & prayers are w/ all affected by the storm. My family & friends were personally affected in surrounding areas. God bless us all,” Strait said in his first tweet. “We are working on putting together relief efforts with the whole country music community.”

The “Amarillo by Morning” singer is a Texas native and still has a house in Rockport, Texas, which was devastated by the hurricane when it first made landfall in the Lone Star State. (RELATED: Country Music Legend Compares Tearing Down Statues To ‘What ISIS Is Doing’)
