J.J. Watt’s hurricane relief fund has surpassed $10 million. The initial goal for the fund was $500,000 and after surpassing that goal within a matter of hours he raised it to $1 million.

After 3 days his fund on youcaring.com has now raised over $10 million. Not only did the community help raise this much money in such a short about of time, but celebrity’s and athletes pitched in as well. NBA star, Chris Paul donated $50,000, Ellen Degeneres donated $1 million, and Tennessee Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk donated another $1 million to Watt’s fund.

According to ESPN, Watt has already put the money to helping the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Watt told ESPN, “We’re filling the semi trucks as we speak. Many people have donated their trucks, their time, donated food, water, clothing, generators, things like that. We’re going to get those trucks down here by this weekend.”

As of this moment J.J. has not raised the goal again, but people are still donating and the fund has close to $11 million.
