MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said Democrats should flip the House in the 2018 midterm elections, but will likely fail to do so because the party is in disarray.
“For there to be a wave, for Democrats to take control of the House, which they should take control of the House if you just look at history, the Democrats actually have to get their act together. And there is absolutely no evidence that that is happening right now,” Scarborough said Friday.
This isn’t the first time Scarborough has expressed doubts about Democrats’ chances in the upcoming elections. He said in late August that Democrats were “wandering in the wilderness” and would lose key Senate races.
“They’re out of power, Republicans are out raising them, and a lot of the Senate races don’t seem to be going their way,” he said.
